Adolescent Social Work Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Adolescent Social Work Specialist to join our Integrated Adolescent Service in Kent County Council. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with adolescents and their families, providing intensive social work support to manage complex situations.
The successful candidate will have a degree in social work and be registered with Social Work England. They will also have proven experience of working with children and families, particularly those who have experienced adverse life events or trauma.
The salary for this position is £45,000-£51,500 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. In addition, employees will receive a car allowance of £2,000 per annum and a generous retention package worth up to £3,000 per year after a qualifying period.
This role requires the ability to build trust with hard-to-reach young people, empower them and their families to develop effective long-term solutions, and provide management support to colleagues as needed. The team works closely with key partners including Housing, Education, Health, and the Police to deliver high-quality services to our community.
