Dermatology Specialty Doctor Position

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Specialty Doctor to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a specialized Dermatology Service to the local population, supported by experienced medical, specialist nurse, and nursing colleagues.
The Dermatology Unit has excellent links with the Plastic Surgery Department, situated within the Trust, and is the hub of the Lancashire Cancer Network. The post is based in the purpose-built Dermatology Outpatient and Treatment Centre, at Chorley District Hospital, where all Dermatology clinics are held.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to patients
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and take part in the co-ordination of care for patients
- Assume a continuous commitment for the care of patients, even if employed less than full-time
About Us
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust comprises Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley District Hospital, with easy transit and regular shuttle buses. The Centre is well-equipped with consulting suites, treatment rooms, and diagnostic facilities.
The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a clinical team, with a commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Dermatology and has a strong commitment to clinical leadership and service development.
