Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Barnardo's. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a team of Residential Support Workers in delivering person-centered care and support to service users.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans and risk assessments.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of service users at all times.
  • Participate in on-call rotas and provide emergency support as required.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
