Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Development Editor to join our team at Inspired Search & Selection, a publishing recruitment specialist. The successful candidate will have a background in English Language Teaching and a strong understanding of ELT methodologies and market needs.

About the Role

The Content Development Editor will be responsible for researching, developing, and delivering market-leading blended and digital first ELT products. This will involve working closely with colleagues to input into product concept development, providing structured feedback to authors, and overseeing the work of freelance editors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality ELT content that meets the company's publishing strategy and planning
  • Participate in product research to inform the development of ELT products
  • Work closely with authors to provide feedback and guidance on content development
  • Oversee the work of freelance editors and provide updates on production schedules
  • Participate in change management initiatives as required

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English Language Teaching, excellent project management skills, and good financial awareness. They will also have excellent communication skills and a solutions-focused approach.
