Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Dawsongroup Plc. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving both short- and long-term rentals of our municipal product range.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining regular contact with decision-makers in the construction sector, optimising opportunities for rentals and direct sales through tenders, site surveys, and customer visits.

You will also be responsible for research potential customers using trade publications, past contracts, industry insights, and personal networks. Your goal will be to identify opportunities for new rental business while maximising returns through second-hand equipment sales and joint enquiries with suppliers and manufacturers.

In this role, you will collaborate with Area Sales Executives, Branch Sales Managers, and other teams to align efforts with company sales plans. You will stay in close contact with branch activities to address new business leads or resolve customer complaints.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in account management, business development, or a similar sales-focused role. Strong understanding of the construction and/or municipal equipment sector is essential.

A competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum is offered, along with performance-based bonus opportunities, 24 days holiday + 1 birthday holiday + bank holidays, life assurance (x2 annual salary), cycle to work scheme, wellness initiatives, internal promotion pathways, refer a friend scheme, and a supportive collaborative environment.
