About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Officer to join our Loss Prevention team at NEXT Retail Ltd.

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment, protecting company assets, and minimizing loss.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Store Teams to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.
  • Build strong relationships with local police and engage with store management to ensure Company LP standards are met.
  • Identify high-risk areas and implement effective deterrents to prevent loss.
  • Support Regional LP Manager in Out of Hours surveillance, LP auditing, and additional store support.

About You:

  • Previous security experience in a retail environment is preferred, but full training will be provided.
  • You will be flexible and willing to work across different stores and opening times.
  • Travel will be required to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable distance from your home address.
  • You will be committed to keeping our Store Teams and customers safe.
  • You will be well-organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills.
  • You will be hardworking, self-motivated, and able to use your initiative.
  • You will be comfortable using IT systems and computers.
