About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our Loss Prevention team at NEXT Retail Ltd.

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment, providing a visible presence to protect company assets and minimize loss.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Store Teams to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies.
  3. Identify high-risk areas and implement strategies to deter loss.
  4. Work closely with Store Management to ensure adherence to company Loss Prevention standards.
  5. Perform additional duties as required by the Regional Loss Prevention Manager, including surveillance, auditing, and support at other stores.

About You:

  1. Previous security experience in a retail environment is preferred, but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  2. You will be flexible and willing to work across different stores and varying shifts.
  3. Travel will be required to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable commuting distance from your home address.
  4. You are committed to maintaining a safe environment for Store Teams and customers.
  5. You are well-organized and able to work effectively in a fast-paced store environment.
  6. You are a hard worker, self-motivated, and able to use your initiative.
  7. You are a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with Store Teams, law enforcement, and customers.
  8. You are flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings.
  9. You are comfortable using IT systems and computers.
