Gap Construction Careers is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. As a key member of the main contractor's head office, you will be responsible for surveying duties on residential sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tender and Contract Management: Prepare tender and contract documents in collaboration with the Contracts Manager.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis for ad hoc repair and maintenance project work.
  • Land Acquisition Support: Provide cost information and risk analysis to support land acquisitions.
  • Cost Control: Perform cost control for risk and value management.
  • Commercial Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Tender Costings: Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
  • Project Budgeting: Prepare budgets for all aspects of project construction.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Allocate orders for work to sub-contractors.
