Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Gap Construction Careers. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, undertaking cost analysis, and supporting land acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance with company guidelines.
- Undertake cost analysis for ad hoc repair and maintenance project work.
- Support land acquisitions by providing cost information and risk analysis.
- Perform cost control for risk and value management.
- Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
- Prepare budgets for all aspects of project construction.
- Allocate orders for work to sub-contractors.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of construction cost management and a keen eye for detail. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
