About the Role

Thornton Legal is seeking a dedicated Residential Property Fee Earner to join their esteemed team. As a Residential Property Fee Earner, you will be part of a firm that values quality and client care, ensuring that all matters are handled with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full spectrum of residential property fee-earning work for client files, from initiation to completion, unsupervised.
  • Conduct matters on behalf of clients in accordance with the firm's quality and risk management procedures, generating fee income, and ensuring proper control of time recording, billing, and cash collection.
  • Participate in business development, supervise colleagues, and engage in marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Conveyancer or Paralegal with a minimum of 3-4 years of fee-earning work.
  • Efficient, well-organized, and timely, with excellent communication skills both in writing and face-to-face.
  • Proficiency in IT and telephone skills appropriate to modern legal practice, including the ability to use case management systems and other standard applications.
