Job Title: Trainee Service Advisor

At Motor Mall, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Service Department as a Trainee Service Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the loading of the workshop, ensuring efficient utilization of workshop capacity and minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor progress in the workshop, ensuring promised delivery times are met and customers are kept informed of progress and any delays.
  • Approach, notify, and obtain customer approval for additional work required, using the workshop additional work sheet.
  • Present completed vehicles to customers personally, advising of future service or repair priorities and ensuring customer satisfaction with work carried out.
  • Maintain customer record files and repair order registers on a daily basis, ensuring accurate analysis of Service Department activity.
  • Develop and maintain a customer contact system, making contact with customers following service or repair work to ensure satisfaction with work carried out.
  • Ensure the Service Reception area is maintained to a high standard, including the display of reference materials and the upkeep of customer records.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and processes.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
  • High level of customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
