About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and people-loving individual to join our team as a Support Worker at Discovery. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with shopping for essential items, including food and clothing
- Assist with emotional and mental health needs, promoting a positive and supportive environment
- Help individuals manage their finances, including budgeting and bill payments
- Support with household chores, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Administer medication as required
- Maintain accurate records using our IT systems, updating support plans, financial information, and health and safety records
