About the Role

At Candlelight Care, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker Specialist to join our team. As a Care Worker Specialist, you will be responsible for providing emotional and practical support to our clients, assisting with personal care, household tasks, and food preparation. You will also be responsible for administering medication, using mobility aids, and reporting any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Get to know your clients and their interests and needs.
  • Provide emotional and practical support, assist with personal care, domestic household tasks, and food preparation, tailored to each individual's needs.
  • Assist with medication, use of mobility aids and personal equipment where required.
  • Report to the Registered Manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client.

Requirements
  • An empathetic and understanding nature, with a desire to help people.
  • The ability to work well both on your own, and with others.
