About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to support our clients with statutory accounts, management accounts, tax returns, and VAT queries in a reputable firm in the local area.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and Ltd companies with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on financial matters, leveraging your knowledge and experience.
  • Liaise with colleagues across the firm to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Support the development of more junior members of the team, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance their skills and confidence.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in an accountancy firm preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and Ltd companies.
  • Excellent communication skills and good software skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE, or working towards such qualifications, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
