Semi Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Semi Senior Accountant to join our team at Rekroot. As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in preparing financial statements, accounting schedules, and control account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements from source documents/records to final accounts for review by management
  • Develop accounting schedules to support financial statement balances and transactions
  • Work on a diverse range of accounts and industries
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management to resolve queries and obtain information
  • Ensure exceptional service to meet client expectations
  • Assist with audit tasks (if interested)
Requirements:
  • AAT level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Experience with IRIS software is a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems, including Xero, VT, and QuickBooks
  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, to an intermediate level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative to identify problems and provide solutions
