We're seeking a talented Vehicle Robustness Development Lead to join our growing team. Reporting to our Development Manager, you will lead the development and testing of vehicle robustness across multiple programs. This includes Structures, Exteriors & Interiors; Durability, Corrosion & Water management. Your role will work closely with Function, Attribute & Simulation teams to ensure an efficient development plan and facilitate test activities.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa, alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

As a Vehicle Robustness Development Lead, you will have the opportunity to drive strategy and contribute to shaping the future of our forward-thinking company. With its rapid growth trajectory and dynamic nature, Forseven offers you a platform to help transform the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand how Attribute & System tests fit within the overall attribute validation process
  • Lead workstreams within multi-disciplined cross-functional attribute/system team
  • Define appropriate test assets; Vehicle, Buck or Rig
  • Act as a Technical Lead within a team of Development Engineers at various levels
  • Ensure robust Engineering DVP & Asset timing plan is in place for all development related testing
  • Ensure adequate test requirements and procedures are in place
  • Complete test result analysis and reporting
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are met for all testing
  • Shares knowledge and learning around subject area with the wider team (attribute and development)

About You:

  • Extensive experience in Vehicle Development/Testing
  • Degree in Engineering or similar
  • Experience using data acquisition and instrumentation systems
  • Technical Leadership
  • Actively seeks out and implements process improvements
