Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer - Body Structures

Forseven, a pioneering company in the electric vehicle industry, is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer - Body Structures to join our Strategic Sourcing team. This role will be based in the Midlands or Oxfordshire, where you will work closely with our engineering partners and purchasing teams to ensure the successful launch of our new vehicle programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for new vehicle components
  • Manage the delivery of new components into production using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools
  • Collaborate with engineering development partners to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles are followed
  • Lead APQP activities on vehicle components/sub-systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Experience with TS16949/VDA requirements
  • Previous experience of Body Structures or Chassis commodities
  • Experience with APQP tools and processes
