SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a busy and exciting school in the Cinderford area.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with students who require additional support and to make a positive impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Assist teachers in the classroom and with lesson planning
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the secondary curriculum
