About the Role

The Associate Director of Quality is a key leadership position within Avery Healthcare, responsible for ensuring the exceptional standards of care delivery and quality services for our residents, relatives, and colleagues.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop a culture that values the highest standards of care, safety, quality, and clinical risk. Reporting to the Director of Quality, you will lead by example, providing leadership and taking responsibility for ensuring robust quality assurance systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance systems and processes to ensure group quality indicators and regulatory requirements are fully satisfied.
  • Lead a team of direct reports, inspiring, coaching, and developing them to take full accountability for ongoing development.
  • Work with senior colleagues to drive continuous improvement, leading change and challenging conventional approaches to create a learning organisation.
  • Provide professional nursing leadership and advice, supporting with any learning required.
  • Take on the role of Infection Prevention Control lead, ensuring that all policies are fit for purpose and up to date.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be a 1st level Registered Nurse (nursing home) with current NMC number, having a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Care & Quality role and be able to evidence experience of change management and impact.

You will have proven experience in a leadership role, having managed a team successfully to deliver objectives, and have a good knowledge of the regulatory framework.

Please note this role will require proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a clear and enhanced DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery.
