About the Role

The Associate Director of Quality is a key leadership position within Avery Healthcare, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care delivery and quality services for our residents, relatives, and colleagues.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to drive continuous improvement, lead change, and challenge conventional approaches to create a learning organisation.

You will be responsible for developing a culture that values the highest standards of care, safety, quality, and clinical risk, and for ensuring that safe, quality care is delivered to residents.

As a leader, you will inspire, coach, and develop a team of direct reports to take full accountability for ongoing development, and provide professional nursing leadership and advice to support the Director of Quality.

This role also includes the responsibility of Infection Prevention Control lead, ensuring that all policies are fit for purpose and up to date.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be a 1st level Registered Nurse (nursing home) with current NMC number, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Care & Quality role, with proven experience in a leadership role and a good knowledge of the regulatory framework.

You will also need to have the personal qualities to work with others, influence, negotiate and develop strong working relationships, and be able to analyse and interpret data to identify emerging risks, themes and trends.

Please note that this role will require proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a clear and enhanced DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery.
