About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Trainee to join our team at Statista GmbH. As an Operations Trainee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales operations and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide timely and effective support to customers, addressing their queries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, update our CRM and spreadsheets daily, and perform other administrative duties as required.
  • Support Sales Operations: Assist sales managers with daily business and administrative tasks, ensuring seamless support to our sales team.
  • Client Research: Conduct research using Salesforce to support client requests and provide valuable insights.
  • Office Management: Ensure the office is tidy and organized, creating a welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors.
  • Supply Management: Order, maintain, and restock office supplies, drinks, and snacks.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the office.
Requirements
  • Education: A 2:1 degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-first mindset with a desire to proactively engage with customers.
  • Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
  • Communication: Confident communication skills, particularly in providing customer service via phone and email.
  • Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Attitude: A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic team.
