We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Swimming Assistant Trainee at Lampton Leisure.

About the Role:

As a Swimming Assistant Trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting our swimming teachers in delivering high-quality lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in teaching swimming techniques and skills, creating a safe and fun pool environment for all members, and providing feedback to students to help them improve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist swimming teachers in teaching swimming techniques and skills.
  • Help create a safe and enjoyable pool environment for all members.
  • Provide feedback to students to help them improve their skills.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to swimming teachers.
  • Ensure child safeguarding concerns are reported.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with the position, such as class registers.
Requirements:

We are looking for a friendly, empathetic, and patient individual who is passionate about creating a fun and safe environment for all our swim school members. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with adults and children. No prior qualifications are required, as you will be supported throughout your training.

What We Offer:

We offer a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to become a Level 1 Swim Assistant. You will also receive a tailored development plan that could include a fast track to become a Level 2 Swimming Teacher.

How to Apply:

An on-site assessment day for the course will take place at Isleworth Leisure Centre. You must be able to attend this day to be enrolled on the course. Please note that part of this assessment will take place in the water.
