MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our depot in Gateshead on a full-time, permanent basis, working a 4 nights weekly role.
We require an individual with previous experience of working with HGVs, ideally in a workshop environment, to interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for attending training and keeping abreast of the latest technical information, accurately reporting and recording work done and tests carried out, and maintaining allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting instructions from the job card/repair order and complying with repair instructions
- Attending training and keeping abreast of the latest technical information
- Accurately reporting and recording work done and tests carried out
- Maintaining allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition
- Providing information, maintaining records and carrying out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
We offer a competitive salary plus bonus scheme, an excellent pension scheme, a fantastic company car scheme with a new VW group car every six months, and 25 days holidays plus bank holidays.
The successful candidate will receive full dealer training and technical support, as well as support with career development.
