Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition specialist to partner with our Operations team in delivering and supporting the attraction and nurturing of top talent across the business. This role will make GAIL's the best place to work and grow in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Operations Managers to attract, recruit, and retain exceptional management talent.
  • Build relationships with candidates through storytelling, showcasing the GAIL's experience and culture.
  • Run monthly Talent training sessions for new and existing managers to enhance recruitment skills.
  • Manage our ATS and social attraction campaigns to improve the candidate journey and recruitment efficiency.
  • Consistently review and evolve our recruitment model to bring experiences to life, not processes.
  • Collaborate with our ATS provider to explore future development opportunities.
  • Provide monthly reporting on Talent data to inform future talent strategies.
Succession Planning
  • Work with Operations Managers to devise clear headcount and succession planning strategies.
  • Hold regular succession planning meetings with Operations Managers to ensure visibility of Talent and recruitment needs.
  • Support internal growth and opportunities within the team.
  • Develop strong working groups with L&D and People Partners to ensure a consistent approach to people development.
Talent Progression
  • Run Talent days to assess internal talent and drive growth in line with our ambition for a 70/30 internal vs external development split.
  • Support all progression requests and facilitate applications to Talent days.
  • Collaborate with the L&D team to ensure training and development plans are followed up.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Talent Partner in a multi-site, growth environment.
  • Experience driving succession planning within an organization or area.
  • Good knowledge and passion for the hospitality industry or consumer-facing brands.
  • Track record of running recruitment strategies and campaigns across the UK utilizing social media.
  • Creative, innovative, and disruptive thought process.
  • Data-driven storyteller who can drive the Talent and People agenda.
  • Previous experience building external partnerships to support people into employment.
