Job Title: Head of Department
Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Religious Education Lead for our well-regarded secondary school in Hornchurch, Havering.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Religious Education department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Deliver engaging RE lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students' academic growth and understanding of the subject.
- Develop and implement an innovative curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Support the professional development of teaching staff within the department.
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's values and ethos.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching RE in England.
- Proven track record of success in delivering RE across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong leadership skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
