Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Outreach Tutor to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. As an Outreach Tutor, you will work with students who are not attending school, creating and delivering tailored lesson plans to bridge gaps in their education and boost engagement and attainment levels. Your responsibility will be to re-engage students in their learning and offer structure back into their daily routine.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must hold QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent qualifications. You should also have 6 months+ experience working in a UK school and up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year. Additionally, you must hold a Right to Work in the UK and an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. Two professional child-related references that cover the last two years are also required.
Salary and Benefits:
This exciting opportunity offers a minimum rate of pay of £25 per hour. Working hours can differ between 1 and 3 hours per session. Prospero Teaching provides accredited continued professional development courses, including safeguarding and behaviour management. Our in-house Training and Development Team is also available to support your career growth.
