Experienced Aviation Architect

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Architect for Aviation Projects, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design and technical work, engaging others with your creative and innovative thinking.
Project Management:
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the design process and project brief, coordinating the preparation of project deliverables and other activities related to project development.
- Take responsibility for quality control and supervision of project deliverables.
- Coordinate and integrate the work of external contractors, suppliers, and professionals.
Team Management:
- Role model Benoy's values and contribute towards a collaborative environment in which innovation is encouraged and best practice shared.
- Ability to work effectively with others to develop and resolve project issues.
- Ability to make complex decisions, weighing up a range of factors and implications.
- Build a network across the business and seek leadership opportunities by directing and supporting junior team members.
Client Relationships:
- Develop effective relationships with clients and consultants.
- Operate independently in daily engagement with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide support to senior team members with key client presentations and represent Benoy in meetings as required.
Budget Control:
- Take responsibility for aspects of the project budget and liaise with stakeholders to ensure delivery.
- Seek to develop a working understanding of cost control, fee charging, and project finance, and consider how project fees are maximised without threat to client relationship and repeat work.
Requirements:
You should have a strong portfolio that showcases great creativity and innovative thinking, experience of successfully delivering aviation projects through all work stages, and experience managing small teams. A strong communicator, you can effectively engage internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in computer applications commonly used within your discipline, such as Revit and sketchup, is required. You should also be degree qualified in a related design field or hold equivalent certification, and professional registration is preferred.
