Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team at Closeburn House, a specialist education and care provider for individuals with autism and complex needs.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our residents. As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of support workers, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to residents
  • Chaperone residents to appointments and activities
  • Complete relevant paperwork and administer medication
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless care and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A HNC in Social Care or equivalent
  • At least two years' supervisory experience in a residential care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A big heart and passion for making a difference in the lives of our residents
