About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team in the Dumfriesshire region. As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with autism and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chaperone individuals to appointments and activities
  • Complete relevant paperwork and administrative tasks
  • Assist with household tasks and daily living activities
  • Administer medication and provide personal care
  • Lead, train, and develop new and existing support workers within your team
  • Collaborate with the deputy manager to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team

Requirements:

  • HNC in Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) - SCQF 7 (Level 3) or equivalent
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
