The Role: Senior Residential Care Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Residential Care Professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being and development of our residents. You will provide direct care, support their daily activities, and foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, assisting with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment, promoting residents' independence, social interaction, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring residents' needs are met effectively.
  • Lead, train, and mentor support workers, fostering a team-oriented approach to care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HNC in Social Care, SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) - SCQF 7 (Level 3) or equivalent, with a willingness to pursue an SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) - SCQF 9 (Level 4).
  • Minimum of two years' supervisory experience in a residential care setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their development.
