About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Media Investment Manager to join our team at Omnicom Media Group. As a key member of our global media team, you will be responsible for driving value creation and delivering media buying commitments to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Buying Performance: Monitor and influence media buying performance across global markets to ensure delivery against commitments.
  • Client Management: Be responsible for day-to-day management of a portfolio of global clients and fulfillment of Media Investment Brief objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the global media community, external media auditors, and our clients.
  • Media Auditing: Track and align with external Media Auditors like Ebiquity and MediaSense.
  • Pitch Support: Support the team on global pitches in market communications and updates to the rest of the pitch team.
  • Market Support: Assist with local markets with any queries on a daily and weekly basis, as well as contract confirmations with these markets.
  • Process Management: Manage processes, design reporting templates, and be the expert on deliverables, targets, methodology, value optimization, and delivery.
  • Reporting: Compile buying results and ad-hoc reporting to present to clients and auditors.
  • Team Support: Support associate directors and business directors to refine and craft media KPIs for clients and manage their delivery.
  • Project Management: Create project builds on a monthly basis, such as new inflation models.
  • Team Leadership: Line manage analysts and senior analysts, including training and on-boarding.
  • Media Product Tracking: Track and capture use of Media products across client portfolio.
  • Value Management: Support directors in active value management and optimization of results to deliver commitments while limiting over-delivery.
  • Team Meetings: Hold weekly face-to-face meetings with your team.
  • System Management: Work with systems like Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and sometimes Tableau and GMP365.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Media Investment Manager who possesses:

  • Strong Media Knowledge: A strong understanding and interest in media measurement metrics, KPIs, and market pricing dynamics across all media.
  • Enquiring Mindset: An enquiring mind to push boundaries and create new approaches.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to explain complicated concepts with clarity.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience of supervising or managing one or more junior team members.
  • International Experience: International media experience ideal but not essential.
  • Media Auditor Experience: Experience at a media auditor, in a local market agency media buying (any medium and does not have to be UK) or within an International Media Investment/Trading/Accountability team.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and well-established organizational and analytical skills.
  • Numeracy Skills: Highly numerate, expert in value methodology, and highly competent on Excel.
