Job Description
We are seeking Special Needs Education Assistants to join our teams in primary schools in Cheshire West. As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide dedicated support to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, both individually and in small groups
- To assist teachers with lesson planning and preparation
- To support pupils with personal care, feeding, and changing
- To contribute to the development of resources and materials to support pupil learning
Working Arrangements
This role involves working potentially 1:1 and in small groups, engaging between working with small mixed ability groups and supporting the classroom teacher. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
