Special Needs Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a Special Needs Lead to join our team at iMap Centre in Cheshire. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children with complex needs, with a focus on Autism and Behavioural Difficulties.
About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires the successful candidate to lead our special needs team, develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies, and work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
Purpose
To lead our special needs team, ensuring that all pupils receive a high-quality education that meets their individual needs, and making a positive contribution to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing a differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils.
- Leading and managing a team of teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and achievement.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £70,000 per annum, plus a £20,000 joining bonus after successful completion of 10 days. We offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, health insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
