About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Winner Education as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work with a school that provides independent special educational needs placements, supporting pupils with SEN in a full-time temp to perm position.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within SEN support, enjoy working with children, and strive to ensure each child can achieve their true potential. This role is based in Cheshire and offers a competitive salary of £85-£115 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Knowledge of school's policies for the curriculum and assessment.
  • Supporting pupils with English and Maths difficulties through intervention strategies.
  • Providing feedback for teachers on outcomes of learning activities.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to:

  • Supervise pupils with SEND, ensuring their safety and ability to access learning activities.
  • Assist pupils with practical activities using a variety of teaching aids.
  • Contribute towards Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
