We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities and Lifestyle Coordinator to enrich the lives of our residents at Hunters Down Care Home in Huntingdon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and organising meaningful and engaging activities and a lifestyle programme throughout the home.

About the role:

  • As the Activities and Lifestyle Coordinator, you will work closely with the team, family members, and residents to establish an understanding of the activities and lifestyle changes that would benefit them individually or as a group.
  • You will be responsible for planning days out, creating partnerships with local community organisations, schools, colleges, churches, and other external organisations to provide a wide range of activities and experiences.
  • The role aims to offer choice and empower our residents to create an enjoyable and social environment where their individual outcomes are achieved.

What we are looking for from you:

  • Experience within a similar role or previous experience in a caring environment is desirable.
  • You should be organised and well-planned, with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people.
  • Confidence, a fun, can-do attitude, and excellent communication and written skills are essential.
