Care Services Coordinator

Tameside Children's Services is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our fostering service as a Fostering Social Worker. This is a key role within our team, responsible for ensuring that Tameside children and young people receive the support and care they need to thrive.
As a Fostering Social Worker, you will have a strong understanding of statutory requirements and Fostering National Minimum Standards, and a commitment to delivering high-quality social work practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with foster carers to develop and maintain high-quality placements
- Conducting assessments and reviews to identify the needs of Tameside children and young people
- Collaborating with other services to achieve improved outcomes for children and families
With a salary range of £38,626 - £43,693, plus benefits such as 36 hours' working week, flexible working arrangements, and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, this is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team.
