Night Shift Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Supervisor to join our Depot Management Team at Evri. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Night Loaders, Sorters, and Drivers in processing parcels for delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of up to 50 direct reports, providing leadership and direction for the night shift.
  • Develop and train reports to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met for the night shift.
  • Ensure compliance with all site Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) rules and regulations.
  • Process Business Intelligence (BI) and Management Information (MI) reports based on work output of Drivers and Loaders.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Management experience of leading and managing a team.
  • Experience of managing teams in a fast-paced logistics environment is a definite advantage.
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a pressurized environment to tight deadlines.
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • An understanding of Transport regulations is ideal.
