We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at a children's home in [location].

About the Role:

As a Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 8-18 who present with challenging behaviors. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to young people, including daily living tasks and emotional support
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a consistent and high-quality service
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in care or vulnerable adults
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles and residential settings
  • Emotional and physical resilience to work with challenging behaviors

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £26,000
  • Additional £70 per sleep
  • Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
  • Rota'd hours between 8am-11pm and alternate weekend working
