Care Development Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Training Specialist to join our team as a Care Development Manager. As a key member of our training department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our colleagues receive high-quality training to deliver exceptional care and support to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Plan, design, and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff, including induction, refresher, and bespoke training sessions.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with local management, the wider training team, and central support functions to develop and maintain training materials, ensure consistency, and meet compliance targets.
- Prioritize Tasks: Effectively manage your workload, prioritizing tasks to identify risk areas and maintain compliance with training delivery targets.
Deliver High-Quality Training:
- Design and Implement Training Plans: Create and implement training plans for colleagues, ensuring they meet individual needs and industry standards.
- Achieve High Levels of Compliance: Achieve and maintain high levels of training compliance within the service, exceeding Be Caring and industry standards.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all colleagues are compliant with the Care Certificate, CQC fundamental standards, and relevant legislation.
Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate and Improve Training: Continuously evaluate training effectiveness, gathering feedback to make improvements to training materials and delivery.
- Contribute to Team Efforts: Collaborate with the training manager and wider team to contribute to the design, development, and production of training materials and documents.
Requirements:
- Experience and Qualifications: Possess relevant teaching or training qualifications and experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs.
- Critical Skills: Be up-to-date with the latest relevant legislation, legal requirements, and industry standards.
