We are seeking a recent graduate to join our team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience or an interest in working with students with Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) needs or PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties).

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant, you will work in SEND specialist provisions for students with additional needs across South London.

About the Role
  • Assist and support with the development and learning of students within the school
  • Provide 1:1 and general support to students according to requirements for the day
  • Work alongside other teaching and support staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment is maintained
  • Be responsible for ensuring school policies are upheld, including behaviour policies

This role requires a patient and understanding approach. An existing DBS check on the update service is advantageous but not required.

Compensation Package
  • A competitive daily rate of £80-95 per day, equivalent to approximately £31,000 - £39,000 per annum based on a 5-day working week
