Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our client's primary provision. The successful candidate will have experience supporting young children or adults with special educational needs and be confident in managing challenging behaviour. You will work on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils, using alternative communication methods to engage and support them. The school caters for pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support to pupils with special educational needs
- Use alternative communication methods to engage and support pupils
- Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop effective strategies for pupil support
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
- Ability to use alternative communication methods
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits
