About the Role

This SEND Teaching Assistant role is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive team. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of working with SEND pupils within a school-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons to students with SEND
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEND
  • Provide individual support to students with SEND to help them access the curriculum

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Experience of working with children or young people, preferably in a educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
