Job Summary

We are seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain first-class hands-on experience ahead of further studies or Educational Psychologist posts.

As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team, including Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, CAMHS Link Workers, Mental Health Professionals, Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO) and Specialist on-site teachers.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with SEN on a daily basis
  • Liaise with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding student progress
  • Assist with the development and implementation of effective interventions
  • Liaise with the school's therapists to ensure comprehensive support
  • Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and safe learning environment

Requirements

  • A degree in Psychology or related field
  • Experience working with children with SEN (Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
