About the Role



The Lead Material Planner will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to Alstom's manufacturing facilities. This position requires strong communication and analytical skills to manage supplier relationships, negotiate delivery schedules, and mitigate supply chain risks.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement effective material planning strategies to meet production demands and optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Manage supplier performance, track delivery schedules, and resolve any issues that may impact production timelines.
  • Analyze and report on supply chain metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve material planning processes.
