Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operational Buyer to join our team at Distinct Recruitment. As an Operational Buyer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining supplier relationships, purchasing goods and services, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Management: Manage and process purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to meet business needs.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
  • Delivery and Logistics: Coordinate and manage delivery schedules, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
  • Support to Senior Buyers: Provide administrative support to Senior Buyers, including data entry, reporting, and other tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
