Maintenance Engineer Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Streamline Search. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for maintaining all manufacturing plant, equipment, and facilities in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  • Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM).
  • Plan/prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
  • Assist in the meeting of daily production plan.
  • Respond to maintenance requests for equipment faults, diagnose faults, repair, and return equipment to operational service.
  • Assist in the moving, installation, and repositioning of machines and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum C&G in Electrical and Mechanical.
  • Food Industry background or transferable skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Working Environment:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on maintaining high levels of equipment reliability and efficiency.

Reporting Structure:

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with other departments, including Quality, Manufacturing, and Production.
