Job Title: Art Educator for SEN Students

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As an Art Educator, you will play a vital role in inspiring students with additional needs through tailored art lessons that foster self-expression and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver accessible art lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Collaborate with the SEN team to develop and implement creative learning strategies.
  • Actively participate in school-wide events and showcase student artwork, promoting their talents and achievements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in art education, particularly with SEN students.
  • A creative, patient, and adaptable teaching approach that meets the unique needs of each student.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
  • A clear enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
