The Capital Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the development of public spaces in Tower Hamlets, including parks, play areas, and sports facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the initiation and delivery of a portfolio of regeneration projects, initiatives, or schemes from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans to ensure maximum quality and value to the Council, its stakeholders, and clients.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including workstream leads across the Council and external partners.
  • Produce and submit regular progress reports to demonstrate effective project management and meet governance requirements.
  • Manage consultants and contractors involved in project delivery, ensuring compliance with LBTH procedures and procurement rules.
  • Ensure effective communication between partners and directorates, dealing with enquiries in a sensitive, efficient, and accurate manner.
