Senior Health and Safety Position

Principal People Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health and Safety Professional to join our client's team. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a positive Health and Safety Strategy across the site operational teams.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside a supportive team of safety professionals and collaborate with the business to drive Health and Safety initiatives forward. The role reports into an experienced Health and Safety Director who will provide guidance and support to help you succeed in your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and support to site teams on Health and Safety matters
  • Develop and implement effective methods to promote awareness of Health and Safety requirements
  • Collaborate with safety and operational teams to implement a positive safety strategy
  • Build positive relationships with sites to improve Health and Safety Culture across the business
  • Work with underperforming sites to develop strategies to improve safety standards
  • Manage ISO Accreditations across the business
  • Contribute to the development of a positive safety strategy as a key member of the team

Requirements:
  • Health and Safety Diploma Qualification
  • Experience in operational Health and Safety
  • Experience of developing and implementing a Health and Safety Strategy
  • Experience managing a team within Health and Safety is beneficial
  • Full UK Driving License and experience managing multiple locations
