Health and Safety Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and implementing Health and Safety systems within the Group, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, monitor, and coordinate Health and Safety policies and procedures, audits, and risk assessments across the Group.
  • Support the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance in all Health and Safety aspects.
  • Collaborate with all areas of the business to ensure employee safety.
  • Travel across the UK as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven 3 years+ health and safety management experience.
  • Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma.
  • Qualified in NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Hold a IOSH Management Safety Certificate (or equivalent) – (preferred).
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
  • Risk Assessment experience essential.
  • Able to identify gaps in own skills and knowledge and request training to promote clinical development.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a commercial or corporate environment or relevant transferrable skills.
  • Exemplary Communication skills and good telephone manner.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based portals.
  • Able to work alone or as a team.
